Jody Claypool has been in the orthopedic industry since 2001. Before starting JC Innovations LLC in July of 2016, Jody held multiple positions in research and development including Product Development Engineer, Product Manager, and Program Manager. Through his career, he worked with large and mid-size companies, to design instruments that significantly reduce cost, improve surgical performance, and provide valuable interoperative feedback. His work has generated more than 20 patents, thus far. In 2014, he won a Golden EID (Excellence In Design) Award for his work on the Zimmer Biomet Persona® The Personalized Knee System, Instruments. Since then, he has been focused on finding opportunities to create industry leading innovations.
